Jomar Shaffer

Jomar Shaffer commenced his DJ journey as a high school freshman in 2006, inspired by witnessing a solo performer captivate an entire audience through music selection and mixing. Armed with a modest loan from his father, Shaffer purchased his first laptop, controller, and speaker system to launch his hands-on education. While attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University, he developed his craft by performing numerous campus events and social occasions.

Following university graduation, Shaffer joined Josh Staley Productions, a company specializing exclusively in wedding entertainment. Since that transition, his performance history encompasses over two hundred fifty wedding celebrations throughout Columbus and surrounding regions including Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. This extensive wedding portfolio has made him intimately familiar with the distinct requirements and emotional dimensions of marriage celebrations.

Electronic dance music represents Shaffer's personal favorite genre, where pulsating rhythms and dramatic synthesizer drops energize his creative instincts. His actual expertise extends substantially beyond EDM into pop, rock, rhythm and blues, and indie repertoires, enabling him to construct customized sonic environments reflecting each couple's unique personality. From romantic first dance selections through high-energy party sequences to ambient dinner background music, Shaffer's dedication to personalization and attention to each couple's narrative ensures weddings become authentic celebrations of their relationships.
